Apple changing the newer ipads from lightening to usb-c causes one to require multiple cables along with an iphone. The lighting speed charging cable is very durable and it helps charge my iphone fast.

I had to purchase new cables given i have a laptop not a mac and also a new car charger that has the usbc input

What was explained to me is only the usbc to usbc supports fast charging
