X2 is enough to run the ipad/macbook and charge the iphone - which is how you do it - leave the other outlet free. I have this thing plugged in at my desk and use it to charge either my iphone faster.
The charger works great overall but it does have some flaws. Overall it’s fantastic and i love it. I wish spigen produces more good chargers for the market.
This is really nice and compact, great for travel and chairing multiple devices. This item is a necessity when you travel.

Keep in mind that even though there are two ports they have different power outputs in other words the 35watts is not evenly divided between the two ports

The port with the red sticker puts out 25watts the other can put out 10 watts
