It is super thin so im not sure it provides the same level of protection as an otterbox but sometimes those are just way too bulky

I have this case on the 8 it’s very clear almost looks like there’s not a case on the phone

Fits loose on sides top and bottom but tighter around the corners

I think it would provide a good amount of protection maybe a 16th of an inch over the front

A bit slippery but it does it’s job would not recommend if looking for a protective case because it hardly covers the front
