Fyi the plastic piece that goes over the rubber will get all scratched up over time

If you set this on a table with the screen down it is protected by the case but only by a hairs width on the top and bottom of the case the edges are actually lower than the screen

If there is anything sticking up when its dropped or on a rough surface the case isnt going to help much if it lands on screen down

Another reviewer claimed that this case does not protect the phone because the phone is not recessed that is not accurate

They did this by having the top and bottom top meaning ear speaker end and bottom mic end to slightly protude passed the screen so when you lay the phone face down it provides a gap and still maintains a slim feel

They incorporated the plastic frame into this case so well that it looks and feels like a one piece case and it comes off and goes on as one piece i have not tried to do it separately

Cons the volume increase button is a little harder to press than the volume decrease button and it is the case buttons not the phone buttons that causing this
