I have a thin case on mine and it works fine through the case it however doesnt work with my parents phones they have a big magnetring behind one of their phones and a thick leather case with cards on one of their phones

It charges my phone quickly but i did notice that the charging area is rather small

If i dont get my phone in just the right spot it doesnt charge at all

Ive had to become a lot more careful about making sure the phone is placed correctly

But i found my big phone got bumped off it too easy it needs to be centered on it so i got the standtype the sits the phone up so you can see it

This is a great charger especially the fact that the phone doesnt have to be placed or centered just so to have it work

We ordered two of these chargers and didnt get the package the first time
