The case does not have material surrounding the buttons on the sides of the phone screen side

Gone is the screen side lip that allowed the phone to be placed screen side down without a screen protector but this is really samsung’s fault for rounding the screen on the s10e to accommodate edge swipe a screen side lip would interfere with that functionality

Shame on samsung for the gimmicky annoying rounding on the s10 and s10 screens that ruined those phones and for the slight rounding on the s10e that makes the screen side case lip infeasible on the s10e

It is plausible that the screen rounding on the s10e makes it impossible for spigen to fully surround the side buttons

Update the replacement i bought nov 2019 seems to have a bit firmer material that keeps a better hold on the phone so perhaps an improvement from the earliest run when the phone first came out

I also feel like this case by being so true to the original design and so thin actually makes it less likely i drop my phone
