This item didnt make the greatest first impression as it felt plasticky out of the box and didnt have the same premium finish to match the nest learning thermostat i was mounting to it

It may feel cheap when touched but theres really no logic to touching or interacting with the mounting place to begin with youre only ever going to be physically interacting with the actual nest device anyway
