It provides great shade. It really provides a nice shaded gathering area for the family. Good for light rain and even great for hot, sunny days.

The thing is trashed. Jammed like it's welded in there. Now they use a light tab of velcro and you have to roll the flaps up before velcroing them.

Light enough to haul 100 yards, sturdy to keep out the sun and wind, or let it in and still sturdy.
Terrific product and easy to set up by 1 person, even a teenager could easily do this.
Once sand gets saturated with rain, it doesn't want to hold very well, and the included stakes won't hold.

It is actually my second time purchasing this same item because come to find out they dont hold up well at all in a fairly brisk beach wind

If you go where it is windy you may want to rethink things such as having it on the beach

I would like to see a slightly sturdier main pole perhaps made of aluminum to keep the weight down

It works fine for leaned over use but with the current design the main pole is a bit too flimsy to be used to hold this upright with any breeze whatsoever
