When i went to ride it i noticed a part was broken so i ordered this hoping it would solve the problem and i wouldnt have to lug the bike into a store to have it fixed

I took it to my local bike shop and he put one of these shifters on to replace the original sis front shifter

I pulled down my over 20 year old bike bought in 1997 and wouldnt you know the plastic around one of the shifters was cracked any time i tried to apply torque to shift it would just move the plastic
