I am very happy with this product.
Easy to put on with the same torx wrench you use for disc brakes.
Great mount, way better than the cheap o-ring mount supplied by garmin with the edge 800
The one that came with the 530 was a little too far out in front and apparently was for more of a road bike.
Price
It fits perfect and the price is right.
Have the garmin for my road bike but this sram mount the was purchased for my mtb is every bit as good at half the price!
Great product at a great price, i have one for every bike
Competitiveness
I have a set of niterider 2200 lights on my bike so i needed a mount that would go over the top of them.
Definitely a snugger fit than the mounting brackets that came with my gps unit.

Ive had one huge crash with my garmin mounted on this and despite the bike doing cartwheels and barrel rolls down the trail the garmin was right where i left it
