Pros & Cons
Pros
C cassette is 11x32, the stock chainrings are 34 and 50 tooth. Sprockets are all steel, held together by a single hex headed screw. Replaced the 6 year old, worn down cassette on my 2009 fuji newest 3. Fuji road bike.
New kmc chain works well with the new kmc cassette. Shifting is smoother both up and down. Once the derailleur is dialed in it shifts smoothly, reliably and i expect it to continue doing that for many years to come.
Changing the cassette also fixed a squeaking problem too. This isn't a big problem for me, it just slows down the process of swapping cassettes. It makes it all that much easier to thoroughly clean each cog & spacer.
Cons
It also makes some noise in contact with the chain when turning under high load.
