Highlights
Quality
It is a high quality sram product, the very oem part that my giant used.
Shifts nicely and is made pretty well.
It tool all of three minutes to install it, zero time to adjust the index shifting and i believe that the shifting is smoother ... Read More
Well after 6000 miles the cassette was worn too, and it wasn't a hard change out to manage.
Price
New cassette + new chaing + new crankset = almost new bike for 1/10th the cost of a new bike.
I've got a salsa la cruz for which i grabbed a pair of bontrage race lite wheels at the santa cruz flea market for a very reasonable price.
It will pay for itself may times over if you can avoid going to the lbs to replace the cassette.
Shipping
It came in sooner then i thought, excellent.
Also big thanks to the seller, it arrived sooner than expected
Packaging/appearance
I like that sram cassettes come packaged with a new locking ring and the two smallest cogs held on with that nice plastic clip thing.
Looks likea fibe cassette, but it arrived without the smallest cog, so i had to return it.
Competitiveness
Buy on price, this one, at the time i bought it, happened to be $8 cheaper than the comparable shimano.
In fact, it's better than anything shimano is offering.
Shimano has mostly abandoned the legacy market, but fortunately sram and a few other companies still make quality replacement products.

I was told and i still think its true that you should change your chain every 1000 miles as its the cheapest part on the bike that will wear and cause more expensive damage to the cassette
