This kit is amazingly complete, and has literally every part conceivable for a full bleed of any sram brake. It came with olives and barbs so that i can shorten the rear brake line, and if you purchase these alone you'll pay $40. Bought for fitting ne... Read More

Kit comes with everything you need to bleed formula t1 brakes (except rubber gloves and degreaser) follow sram/avid instructions on correct bleeding, it's a bit involved but if you do it correctly, it works perfectly.

Cons

The grease is only offered in a $25, 1oz tub. I realize this is my fault for incorrectly setting the brakes up. It certainly is not worth buying sram's $30 container for what would only require 2 dabs!

It's expensive, but everything seems to be of high quality, and survived my learning experiences unscathed.

But you will pay a premium price for that sram factory kit, hence why only 4 out of 5 stars.

I'm paying $70 for this "pro" bleed kit, supposed to come with everything i'll need and more.

Packaging/appearance

Came with all the fitting i could need for mine and my daughters bikes along with brake fluid.

You can figure out what's what, but printed packing list and instructions would be helpful.

Competitiveness

Much easier to use compared to the fiddly shimano “funnel”.
