Best value both for the price and design.
The only aluminum one at a reasonable price and it should help my ssd reach 400mb/s while plugging into the front usb panel of my pc.
I am creating some nas type devices using external drives, and wanted a nicer looking case but being cheap, didn't want to spend a lot.
Saves money thus not having to buy an external drive at a considerably higher cost.
Shipping
However, amazon got me an rma instantly, and cross shipped an *obviously* new in box replacement to me *overnight* (at *their* expense).
That being said, was sent black supposed to be silver.
Packaging/appearance
If you use the packing tape method, just make sure not to cover the plastic frame because it will be too tight to fit back in the body.
I just used some good quality (thick) packing tape and trimmed it with a razor blade.
Competitiveness
Purchased another brand from amazon that died after a 3-4 months use but had connection issuse from the start.
There is some branding on the black plastic endcaps, but it's small and muted.

The internal bracket is plastic but it does what it is supposed to and assembled you dont see it
