The sleek, compact design is both aesthetically pleasing and practical. The nvme card stays securely seated with the thumbscrew.
The screw fits through the back of the enclosure chassis and the holes have recesses to hold a hexagonal shape. Once you get it on and tightened, it holds the ssd in place and the outer aluminum cover slides over the chassis.
The tim is working to transferring heat. Since they pressed against the metal casing, it improves cooling a bit. Also included a screw, a nut and 2 thermal pads.

Cons
Hardware speed tests confirm this. I have a evo 980 m2 ssd i tried to insert into this, and because it has a metal heat sink it would not fit in the case.

Price
For less than $20 and the ability to select what i wanted on the fly, this enclosure was a great solution.
Maybe also because of the reasonable price.

I got good transfer speed for about 20 or so minutes.

Works great but beware the plastic interior area to place the ssd is very small and m2 drives with heatsinks attached will not fit inside

Also included were thermal pads which i did not use as i was simply cloning drives which did not require extended use of the reader

Therefore i dont know how well the reader does in dissipating heat from the drive from extended use
