Quality

I was getting frustrated with constantly sharpening standard carpenter pencils and never really satisfied with the edge.

It is a smooth and superb product.

Maybe it's a typo and you actually get far more than 3 for the 3-pack.

Its a great holder but didn't work with the lead i had.

Staedtler is a trade mark that i have been in love since childhood.

They can be bought for a reasonable price.

If you get just 1, you get the free two-day shipping, but if you get more than that apparently it's just free standard shipping.

I didnt buy mine online so i cant say how the shipping and all that was like.

Packaging/appearance

Fast shipper, adequate packaging, a sturdy tool & comfortable in the hand.

Competitiveness

I have used this product before and generally staedler products since 1964 and have never found them to be wanting.

Much better than the staedtler sharpener you can buy separately (or maybe i just don't know how to use it properly).

The pencil is a steadtler mars technico 2mm lead holder.

The lead itself is easily erased with a gum erasure, and the lead will blend when using copic markers.
