Pros

The key to any compass is to lean the tool into the swing. Perfect for geometry school work. It doesn't skitter around; it stays where you put it.

It is pretty poky and the pencil goes out pretty quick but it is replaceable. A smallish compass, but made of steel and seems very durable.

Cons

It says made in germany, it looks like it’s all metal, but it crumpled like tin foil. There are no instructions with the compass, nothing to indicate the size of leads that fit the compass. Check to make sure those nuts in the legs where the screw/gea... Read More

This one works very well and should hold up if i'm careful, i'd just feel better with the sturdier all metal version.

Probably will replace it with the metal one as soon as i can find one, but again this is still a good compass.

She lacks the the finesse of drawing circles with this product.
