Pros

This is a well designed sharpener and the materials look sturdy. It's very well made and also has a lid which is appreciated.

Cons

Product itself is dull. Usually, i prefer to spend a little bit more money to purchase a better quality product that will be easier to use and lasts a bit longer. This one is a complete disappointment.

The pencil breaks while getting sharpened all the time. My pencils got mutilated. It's difficult to handle breaks the graphite.

This sharpener lives up to the reputation of staedtler quality.

Had more success with the cheaper one.

Not sure it had to do with the pencils or not.

Packaging/appearance

I have not tried it on the prismacolor pencils i own so u cannot comment on that.

Competitiveness

Bought this an another cheaper one and i know this is is a staedtler, but it did not work with all the pencils.
