An amazing xlr microphone for such a low price.
If you’re on a tight budget, this will definitely see you right.
But it is the quarter of the price of a 57 so you get what you pay for and it is easy to work on.
For £20 you can get the mic and 5m cable.

Comes with a long xlr cable of about 15 feet and a sturdy plastic case that also now houses my shure sm58.

Sounds very clear for most applications or uses and is even better after some eqing.
I have an sm58 to compare it with.
Some mics at twice the price could not compete with this one.

If you want something more respectful of the whole frequency range you can currently get the weymic wm58 for a pound less

You have nothing to lose trying this mic first and seeing if it meets your needs the actual sm57 doesn’t even come with an xlr cable or case for nearly 5x the price

Not used it yet but will be a back up for my sm58seems good quality no on off switch which isnt a major issue as its a back up
