Pros
Sturdy and portable. No tipping issues.
Great price. Not cheap and not overly priced. Holds up clarinet instead of juggling it while switching books, adjusting music stand, etc.
Cons
With only three legs that don't lock into place, these stands tip over very easily. I'm a professional clarinetist and clarinet teacher, and i tried two of them, but am returning them because they are not stable.

But the less bulky folding up ones i have not found to be as sturdy and protective of the fluteso i like this one until something better comes around town
