Pros

The pot is polished stainless steel, not teflon or that other questionable non-stick coatings. I'm glad i now have a rice cooker that doesn't leach chemicals into my food.

It's well built, compact and performs well. Also, it looks a lot nicer than the picture.

The steamer basket is a convenient feature to add a steamed veggie to the meal.

Hope it will be durable. The only problem i encounter with this rice cooker is that, the reviewer said this is an american brand/american company but when i checked the product i'm expecting a made in usa tag, but it is actually made in china.

Cons

The power button no longer heats up nor cook. Rice gets burn everytime i cook rice.

Bought this mainly for the stainless steel to get away from non stick coatings.

This was exactly what i wanted - a rice cooker that did not have a non stick coating.

It is easy to clean after a breif soak in soapy water and scrub.
