Pros
Durable and tough. Feels very sturdy. Pretty much bullet proof.
The blade starts to wiggle as the nubs wear out. I just find it quicker to pull out your knife with the blade ready to go.
Stanley 199 is the best knife out there for sheetrock nothing else even comes close. The 199 is far cheaper than the fancier knives, and yet performs it's function far better.
Great tool. Great knife. Good razor knife. This thing is sharp.
Cons
Get the wallboard equivalent way better. Not adjustable not like the original 199. Poor casting quality.

I was taught that with a fixed blade knife such as this youre less likely to cut yourself than if you have a retractable as you are more aware of the blade position
