Pros

This box cutter has good heft, fits well in my hand, and the blades it comes with are extremely sharp. The pot metal casting is a little rough but fit and finish is acceptable and the knife should be durable even with heavy use.

Stanley 10788 has a shiny new sharp blade that retracts and extends exactly as it should. Hit with wd40 ocassionally when full of drywall dust or the like.

Bob the astorian gives it two thumbs up! It's still perfect! I'm a big fan of stanley products as they always seem to give you a great product all while being economical. Always works and lasts years.

Cons

How stanley could take something as fundamentally simple as a box cutter and make a device consisting over over 20 pieces, most of which don't work together, is beyond me.

For 10 bucks, not worth my time to return for refund. Returned and requested a refund.

That is not convenient.

Looks so good but the cardboard instruction advertisement paper was impossible to remove. May be a knock off. Bought at home depot.
