Pros

This trimming plane is incredibly useful. It does a surprisingly good job of rounding the edge of a board. The blade is easy to sharpen and reinstall exactly where it is needed.

This little guy performs very well. It is not flimsy and looks like it will last forever.

Sharp and maneuverable. Works amazingly well for small cuts. For my work, it does the job of producing the size shavings i was needing.

Perfect little device for shaping balsa on a model airplane. Use tiny taps with a small hammer to adjust, great for profiling an airfoil.

Cons

Tiny piece of junk. The bottom is painted and not flat.

It very much will hurt your hand if you're doing anything more than very light and superficial planing.

Right out of the package, and after adjustment, i made shavings so thin you could read a newspaper thru them.

If i remember correctly i got it for under ten dollars or around ten dollars.

I was cheap and not wanting to buy a planner to just do this.

It won't replace a block plane, but, for the money, it should be pretty useful.

I had thought they were all huge and looked at them and costed 30 or more bucks.
