Highlights
Quality
Very good quality - incredible cuts when sharpened.
Have not used it yet but is sturdy well made & it is stanley-made.
It was so sharp that i accidentally grazed my finger against the edge and it effortlessly sliced to the bone.
Made in england iron which is within half a thousandths of .
Price
For a 10$ blade this works really well.
Cost to purchase a new stanley plane would have been $55.
But the correct blade cost 2 1/2x as much, at the time of this review.
For the money, it's hard to beat.
Packaging/appearance
Not sure where these are made, but the plane iron came in a stanley package and fits my stanley bench plane.
Posted are photos of the edge and reverse of the iron.
Competitiveness
I used mine in an old miller falls #9 plane which is comparable to a stanley #4 in type.
I'm sort of thinking i should've sprung for the more expensive blade from veritas.
