Do not buy low quality, you will regret it and it will cost you more in hours of labor with a poor quality tool.
Now it's a top quality plane ready for a lifetime of work.

Really well made, works great right out of the box.

Not one of the fancy ones, but a great worker for the price.
I purchased this plane for its low cost compared to the high end planes out there.

Almost every plane should be lapped and tuned prior to its first use unless you have the cash to lay down for premium plane

I suppose its up to you but for me the twothree hours of initial tune up outweighs the extra cash for a ready to use plane

I know i never droppedit or abused it so i am left to assume that the plane had been previously damagedor the plastic in the handles is cheap
