He's pleased with the quality and the ease of use.
I'm very happy with it although i have several alternatives in my growing collection.
Not up to the quality of my old stanley plane but works great.
Somehow you just know when you are holding a quality tool in your hands.

The blade was scary sharp right out of the box.
But did cut good right out of the box.

That time has passed in the usa.
Need to sharpen the blade on arrival, but not bad for the price.
