Wood Holding Mechanism
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the wood holding mechanism of this mitre box. While some find it useful for crafts and small projects, others struggle with securing the wood during cuts, making it a less stable option compared to other mitre boxes on the market.
Saw Quality
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the saw quality of the Stanley 19-800 Saw Storage Mitre Box with 12-Inch Backsaw. While some are pleased with its sharpness and ease of use, others find it to be of poor quality, with loose slots and a cheap plastic handle leading to inaccurate cuts and wobbling.
Highlights
Quality
It works great for mobile home repairs.
Cuts are very clean and angles are great.
The plastic feels cheap but as long as i am careful with the saw then it does exactly what i needed to do with it.
Saw is very sharp and cuts through both hard and soft woods easily.
Price
Husband said it was nicer than he excepted for the price.
** but, works great and did what i needed to for the low low price, so i give it 5 for that.
Packaging/appearance
I picked this up knowing that the box would be super limited in what you would want to do with it.

It is not a super sophisticated product and people without much experience may struggle to get it to provide precision but if you acknowledge its limitations and know what you are doing it works just fine
