Pros

It's fast, it's accurate, stanley is the name for tape measures. It isn't as bulky as the dewalt or the m1, and fits on any tool belt without any trouble. Best feature is the large lever release at the bottom which automatically locks the deployed tap... Read More

My only complaint with the leverlocks is the durability of the clutch. Very easy to use and not flimsy at all. I have a very ols stanley leverlock that i used until it broke.

Cons

The new rounded, futuristic egg looking design is just goofy looking. What a glaring design flaw. The numbers and marks wear much more quickly than the old neons.

The retracting mechanism broke after just a bit of use. Poor retraction, the lock button has a mind of its own. The lock mechanism (not the button but the portion that secures the tape from retracting) on one of my 5 leverlock tapes failed.

The retract design requires your fingers to be where the tape retracts and often pinches your fingers. If you're not squeezing it all the time on the return, or squeezing it when you pull it out, this locking mechanism rubs the measurement lines.
