Pros & Cons
Pros
It is compact and easy to carry to the hardware store in your pocket. It fits comfortably in the palm of the hand, and feels light when clipped to a belt or pocket.
Tape measure that reads in both inch/english and metric. It fits easily in my apron and has both metric and imperial measurements. Covers 95% of all my measurements.
This is a quality piece that matches it’s description perfectly. I just bought another one for my son, he's in his first new house and want him to experience the joy of using this particular tool!
An edc item for me.
Sturdy tape measure and not too large and cumbersome. Perfect size for woodworking. Good for measuring packages for shipping and home remodeling.
Cons
The numbers are poorly printed and blurry as compared to the old usa-made equivalent. The tape comes out of the reel case the wrong direction, that is, with the belt clip facing you, rather than with the manufacturer's name facing towards you.
Highlights
Quality
It’s has the nice size/heft ratio that makes a thing feel well made, without feeling heavy.
Really great tape measures, use either this one or the engineer scale every day.
This unit is not intended for long measurements (only goes to 3.
Like the sturdiness with both metric/standard marks.
Competitiveness
I have been borrowing different brands from coworkers in the office and i am definitely going back to the stanley.
