Pros

Fatmax is great for framing, but for trim its gotta be a powerlock. I've been a carpenter for about 30 years this is my favorite tape measure. Works perfectly for wide horizontal and tall vertical measurements.

Comes in a good strong plastic packaging that will protect it from scuffs. Easy to read due to the fact they are not cluttered with metric measurements. Quality is always top notch on stanley tapes.

Cons

They have no conscience! The spring is terrible. Unfortunately, the other brands tend to be english and metric, which i do not want. I would not have ordered this item if they had correctly described it!

Interestingly, i never ran into a need to go the full length like i have with the 25 footer.
