Pros

The tape itself is very strong and durable. Only fault for my is the clip. It's a bit bulky but the stiffness of the tape makes it worthwhile.

The 25ft fat max is the industry standard for most in the trades. Always liked the fatmax tapes for their sturdiness and durability. Made in usa was a bonus.

Cons

Took it apart and couldn't figure out how to rewind it. Manufacturing issue with the clip rivet placement and how the end is trimmed. I understand that this is a manufacturing issue, not the retailers.

If you extend the tape past a few feet, the the tape won't retract by itself. The sliding lock to hold the tape in position is mushy and does not holding the tape securely.

Me, being a cynical adult, am less impressed. My daughter is impressed that crocodiles are so big that it breaks the measuring device. When you measure the tape's width of the newer version, it comes to roughly 1.

I should have went with a cheaper vendor that didn't try to sell me a taiwan made tape
