Pros & Cons
Pros
Pry bar is great for pulling nails in tight spaces with either the claw or the keyhole. Works great to pound on prybars or other surfaces that would damage milled grooves on a hammer. I don't have to worry about losing a prybar under a pile of debris,... Read More
It is an all-around tool and excels at the purposes for which it was designed. This is the first tool i've ever had that suggested eye protection not only for the user, but also for bystanders. It is a great emergency rescue tool, fits under most car ... Read More
Cons
The backside drywall blade is very dull, making it inefficient when seeking to split and rip wallboard. The flaw is that this hammer was made for lefties when the construction industry is dominated by righties. This is unacceptable.
Highlights
Quality
The fubar works great to pound on prybars or other surfaces that would damage milled grooves on a hammer.
I carry this and alternate with the annihilator in my vehicle.
You can knock holes in drywall, pry pieces apart, or just twist studs with the mouth.
You can pulverize the tile and mortar, loosen the mesh with the back side and use the pry bar to rip that nasty stuff away.
Price
This is a great product at a great price.
Fubar is an appropriate name for this product.
Is all my husband said when i gave him this tool.
Packaging/appearance
It is solid steel with a rubber grip coating.
If only it glowed in the dark!
Competitiveness
I'm a diyer and i'm constantly finding new uses for this thing.
I originally was looking for a tool that could do double-duty on light demolition and some of my wife’s favorite dishes.
If they had a stanley fatmax extreme, we might all be wearing helmets with horns and dragging our women folk by their hair.
On a bit of a side note, i notice that others have commented the usefulness of fatmax for zombies.
