First i broke after considerable abuse

There is a pin in the center that hits the nail head when you strike the tool but it is just a tiny bit smaller than the barrel it fits in so if you have a nail with a very tiny head it sometimes gets stuck between the pin and the inside of the barrel

I dont use that type of nail very often so it doesnt bother me too much

I like the theory behind this tool but i did not get that great of results

Once the nail gets hammered down flush with the wood the nail setter does not have any way to keep it from sliding off the nail so then back to the old problem of punch on wood and misstrikes

Once the nail is flush or slightly indented this tool is actually worse than a punch because the nail head can no longer be seen the head of this tool is much larger diameter
