Pros & Cons
Pros
Good value for a set of nail setters. For doing work in a garage, or projects around the house that require a nail set or punch, this set is a great value.
These are very sturdy. Metal with a cross cut grip and a square top at the head so you always get a solid grip. These are worthy.
Cons
Chinese knockoffs abound. Received a used product, cheaply re-packed in a torn original packaging. Made in china. I have to agree with cliff, the only current quality product is the starett.
Highlights
Quality
The design, machining, and overall quality is first rate.
Very good quality at a nice price.
While it seems to be working, some of the small nails tend to creep up with the temperature change and seasonal humidity.
Price
Just what i needed and great price!
Packaging/appearance
Package came a little dirty/rusty, but they cleaned up all of the 18ga nails in the pencil trim i was putting on.
Competitiveness
Luckily, these are affordable and ordering a second set was a no-brainer.

The punch recess in the tip is poor on these but worse was after a week of use for the mid size punch the plastic and rubber housing started to move from the metal core allowing the punch core to push down

Make sure you put a light coat of mineral oil on them after use to prevent rust which is the only thing that will kill this

If i were going to buy nail setters for professional work i would want the ones with larger more ergonomic handles with a bright color that makes them easier to see if dropped on a job site

The three common sizes although the medium one is most often used

The staples were easy to pull out but there are so many nails that the wood is getting damaged from pulling them out no matter what tool i use because they are so deep
