The locking mechanism is extremely hard to engage and requires both hands to push locking slide. Heavy spring load on the blade trying to retract itself. The blade hook is not exposed.

I wish it had a warranty because it does wear out with a lot of regular use but he goes through a lot less than with any other brand.

Other brands i end up with the spring breaking or the tape snapping.
