Quality

Excellent cook set very well built just love to cook on this

Excellent construction and very solid stainless as u would expect from stanley tools !

The base camp book set is of mixed quality good & poor.

The poor: the pan literally "just" fits and i have to use a little more force than i would like to get it to set in the pot as indicated.

Price

All in all i am happy with the purchase though i think it is a bit pricey but this is something i am hoping to keep for a long time.

So if you're going to spend the money on this set, just be aware you are essentially just paying for the stainless steel.

Pricey but stanley gear is worth it.

Packaging/appearance

As pictured the plastic utensils snapped where they are supposed to attach to the handles.

Figured that out when i packed some some dirty dishes separately for later cleaning.

Other minus is that if you don't pack it all up nice and proper, it makes a terrible racket in your ruck.

Competitiveness

There are lots of other sets on the market but i believe this one is the most complete, useful, and practical one.
