The finish is satin more than the grainy texture you may find on other black colored stanley products. The jar feels heavy just like the stanley cups, it gives the jar of the feeling of durability.

Stanley adventure to go insulated food jar is not up to par with their reputation. Does not keep food hot at all. My lunch is lukewarm at best 3 hours after packing it. The lid is impossible to open.

Very sturdy and just what i was looking for to take to work.

The lid screws securely, and the contents keep warm properly- enough for 4-5 hours to lunch time.

Poor on hot water to warm it up than empty and put in hot food and it will be warm or hot for some time and it’s leak proof.

The fruit stays cool, this doesn't leak at all, and it stores like a champ.
