No down side to this jar. They are reliable and durable. The only downside is that it's a bit hard to clean. It's easy to clean with a good round brush.

Stanley makes the most rugged durable indestructible thermos bottle. I love that it keeps my bone broth or soup hot for multiple hours. I never worry about leakage, or durability, and love the carrying handle.

Hot coffee is cold in 5 hours or so, even though i preheat with boiling water for 15 minutes. The cup pops up and lets the hot content out with no apparent reason. Just a crappie lid. This thermos is junk.

The problem lies in the silicon rubber gasket on the stopper. Eventually the gasket starting falling off into my food. When i emailed stanley warranty claim about the problem and asked for a new stopper, no response.

I am ashamed for stanley to allow this. How embarrassing. Big disappointment. Very disappointed" "every expectation was not met.

Product is bull in the worse sense. Built to look the same but weighs much less and every component seems thinner and cheaper. I have to assume they are either managing things very poorly or management is cynical.
