Pros & Cons
Pros
Spare blades in the knife handle compartment is an added bonus. No complaint here. Easy to use. Blade changing is also simple.
Cons
Blades get jammed and slider virtually inoperable. Knife itself whilst solid, is clunky and blade insertion is difficult.
The knife is useless and stanley is supposed to be reputable. Surely quality control is non-existent.
Any instruction given are pathetic and do not help in solving the problem. Shame on stanley.
Highlights
Packaging/appearance
My only complaint is i had to totally take it apart to get all the packaging out of the mechanism, then of course put it back together!
But there should be no need for disassembling an item to remove the packaging.
Just don't feed the packaging through the workings of the knife!
But i almost lost my mind with the packaging.
Competitiveness
They'd be better employed at ikea, where at least customers know they are going to have to construct their purchases themselves.

Like other reviewers i found the plastic label for use in an actual shop it has a loop for hanging on a display stand impossible to remove and not being able to see where in the workings of the knife the label ended or what it was attached to i was reluctant to keep tugging at it or trying to tear it
