Pros

This is well made and, the strainer does disassemble for easy cleaning. The screen filter is sturdy and does not fall apart. This press is very sturdy with nothing to break.

It’s a monster in a field of inferior presses. The lid has a big insulated top to keep the warmth in. Worth every penny.

The durability of this french press puts the competition to shame. The flavor of the brew exceeds the glass french press.

Cons

It pours horribly, if you don't make a mess pouring coffee, it is a rare occasion. Lid seems to sit entirely too loosely. We let it sit for a while and had to sip about an inch then through the rest away.

It is flimsy and made out of garbage. The paint started chipping off after less than 2 months. Screen is just too wide or maybe made of a too-rigid mesh that bulges rather than bends.

Shipping

I was able to get this stanley delivered by the next morning (while i await my new percolator).

Someone had to damage them on purpose before shipping.

This came in an amazon box along with 4 other items, 2 other items that were metal and slightly heavy.

There was no packing material, one small piece of brown paper loose in the box.

The box was too big and everything was loose.
