Rain Protection
Customers have mixed opinions on the rain protection feature of this camping tent. While some are pleased with its water resistance and the ability to use it without a rainfly for stargazing, others have experienced leaks during rainy conditions. The tent's compact size and lightweight design make it popular among hikers and those seeking mosquito protection. However, its lack of robust rain protection may not be suitable for all camping environments.
Tent Pole Quality
Customers have mixed opinions on the tent pole quality of the Stansport Camping Tent. While some are pleased with its durability and affordability, others mention the need for upgrades such as new ropes and stakes to improve performance. Overall, customers consider it a good value for the price but acknowledge that expectations should be managed when purchasing a tent under $100.
Highlights
Quality
Easy setup, good wind protection and low profile.
Happy with purchase and tent is warm so set in a way for good air flow.
Bending over wasn't safe with such a high lip where the zipper is at the bottom of the door.
I didn’t bother with the cheap cord that came with the tent, i bought real paracord and it does not stretch.
Price
In- stock and inexpensive was my need.
I paid about $20 for mine and easily got more than 10x my money's worth.
And when your bag cover bivy costs upwards of $300.
But for the price it is well worth 30 something dollars.
