The lid does not fit as well as expected thought it would nestle inside the pot rim could be an issue if the kettle is bumped while cooking

It is a good deal compared to lodge which is much more expensive so if you dont mind doing the seasoning i would just burn it red hot until the wax all smoke off let it cool then rub some bacon grease or something of that nature on it then throw it in the oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees turn on the smoke filter it would save you about 30

I know some of the reviews complain that after seasoning it is a brownish color and not black

If this is true you must continue seasoning the dutch oven until it turns black
