For the price, these are great lanterns.
This is a very affordable light to use for camping !
They are massive and expensive and super dangerous for my text.
I saw these and couldn't believe how affordable they were.
Packaging/appearance
They don’t come with a travel case but i used the cardboard box they came in and had no issues.
Disappointed that there was no tank stand as pictured.
Competitiveness
" no catch, just a great lantern that functions exactly like the more expensive competitors products for half the price!
I don't know if stansport had a heyday, but this lantern seems a better execution than the modern coleman, and the price is great!
Usual buy the other name brand lanterns like ozark trail or coleman.
Other than that, it is perfect and sold at a better price than other vendors.

As it is you need to push kind of hard on the top and once its lit that gets hot

After carefully tying on a mantle and snipping off the excess tiestring just light the mantle with the glass globe removed and no gas running and let it burn itself up until its white

Theres a little hole in the bottom plate to aim your match or lighter under to light it effectively

I like the idea that this is single mantle it puts out tons of light at max setting i doubt id have need for more light from a lantern like this since if you break a mantle in a double mantle version youre likely to need to replace both of them because they are fragile after they are burned in so youd probably break the remaining one as you replace the bad one
