It is mostly plastic but if you use care and not get into a hurry or force something it works great it is not a full size picnic table so if that is what your expecting you will be disappointed

The only thing wrong is that the pole moves within the table and is therefore always leaning

This happens because the piece that goes into the hole in the table to hold the pole steady is too large

If you do not lock it it will fold in and might brake
