Pros & Cons
Pros
They're nothing fancy, but they worked great during my very brief attempt at setting up a tarp as an awning. Used to hold canopy flap open on carport to extend out. Great value for the money.
The 4 mod poles are easy, inexpensive, and make the poles nearly perfect. Poles are light weight and sturdy. Nice quality, seems to be durable.
Cons
There was no way to seperate the telescoping pole. It is carcinogenic and has endocrine-disruptor chemicals as well. Also, the end is too big for the kelty noah tarp.
Selling used defective products as new is a scam in my book. Money down the tubes.
Highlights
Quality
Product works and as described easy to put together
Very impressed with the performance for the price and weight.

Price
Only used once so far but it was very sturdy and the price was right.
A good pole for a great price.

Shipping

The inner pole is jammed against this dimple - i think intentionally - to keep the pole as small as it can get during shipping.
Competitiveness
They feel like they'd bend pretty easy if they were, say, caught up around a 100lb dog on a cable run who just doesn't seem to ... Read More
