My friends enjoy playing this version a lot after learning with the original.
Fun game to play with the family.
So if you wanted to play regular catan you could just no play with the helper cards.
Pieces are high quality, board sturdy, overall well made, but we still laminated character and development cards.
Price
Love this game and the price was unbeatable.
For the price, i really think they could have done better.
Shipping
Shipping was quick and product was packaged well.
The components are very good, especially the ships and bases.
Be careful when putting the ships on the clear pegs cause the wings are thin and can break easily.

It does take a bit longer to play due to the addition of the character cards

One of the strengths of this game is that it allows for a variable setup each time so its never the same game twice

The starting placement of your 2 outposts 2 starships at the start of each new game can be critical and the fact that you literally build a different variation of the game board with each session makes it all the more interesting

Im hoping to get the expansion though based on the information i see here on amazon it looks like the boards in that set are static rather than variable

A fun spin on catansettlers of catan is a fun game and adding a star trek theme just makes it even better
