Pros
It seems breathable and comfortable for any season. It fits him well, with some room so it seems to be true to size. The material is thin, which will be great for hot days, but i'm not sure how breathable this will be when he's sweating.

This is soft, breathable, wrinkle resistant polyester.
The fabric is polyester, and the outside actually looks shiny.
Competitiveness
I ordered a 7/8 for my almost 8yr old.
I can't lower my rating just because i didn't pay attention to details; besides the fabric it's a well-made shirt.
The shirt would be a five-star item if it were made with a more breathable fabric blend.

My main quibble with this shirt is that it is made of a shiny polyester material that does not breathe
