It left some light brass marks on the rear sight so maybe nylon punch would have been a better choice but a little hoppes im told will remove the brass and its so minor ive not even bothered to deal with it yet

Bent easily removing sights from firearm as described used this to install night sights on my g17 i used my bench vice to press the rear sight in as far as i could then tapped the remainder ever so gently with this punch
