Pros & Cons
Pros
In comparison to the stanley, squareness is equal, but ease of reading the measurements goes to the starrett. The scribe fits tightly in the head and has no chance of falling out. Theres no slop in the ruler.

Cons
The scribe fell out when i opened the box. The product has zero marking's stating where the object is made. Not pleased with starrett quality and packaging and amazon packaging.
